Today 14th August 2026  and tomorrow 15th August 2026 ILFORD LANE will be closed today from 1200hrs to 0300hrs Sunday morning as the Pakistan and the Indian community will be celebrating there indepence days. Ilford Lane has been closed for any vehicle to enter only vehicle which can enter will be any emergency vehicles and the Redbridge Enforcement officers vehicles.

Please can I ask all residents if you are coming to Ilford Lane to walk into Ilford Lane to celebrate the indenpence days. Any vehicle parking will receiving a parking ticket. This morning while PCSO 7002EA ALEEM was on bike patrol four parking tickets were given to bikers.  

PCSO 7002EA ALEEM also visited Redbridge MP Mr Jas Athwal as as welfare visit  to ask if the have any concerns to report no issues to report but the MP and colleagues were in the office organising the office for use, PCSO 702EA ALEEM visits the office twice a month or when needed to.

PCSO 7002EA ALEEM visited the Mr Khalid from the South Ilford Lane Busineses Association (SIBA) chair who explained  it will very busy tonight hoping the Pakistan and Indian Indepence Day will be controled by the Redbridge Enforcement officers and the Metropolitan Policer on duty.
